ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

Hello and welcome! Seeking support is a brave step, and finding supportive care is more essential than ever given all that is going on in the world.

I provide psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults during times of stress, adjustment, or uncertainty. I also offer assessment services, including neuropsychological and personality assessments.

I approach my work with an emphasis on empathy and compassion. I hope to learn more about your context, including your environment, experiences, identities, and relationships, to develop a treatment plan that will work for you.

I work with people of all ages with a focus on life transitions, including:
  • Pregnancy and early family life including supporting caregiver bonds with children ages 0-5
  • Children, pre-teens, and teens throughout their school years
  • Young adults adjusting to college and/or adulthood
  • Adults navigating work stress
  • People of all ages struggling with relationships, perfectionism, and people pleasing
As a clinician with Type 1 diabetes and chronic migraine, I blend my clinical, research, and personal experiences to specialize in working with fellow people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. I also often work with other healthcare workers and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Our sense of connection to ourselves and others can deeply impact our wellbeing. Often, people come to see me to work on understanding the internal and external pressures they experience, what they need from the other people in their lives, and how to feel "good enough," amidst it all.

I believe (and research does, too!) that the connection between us influences the effectiveness of our work together. Please reach out for a free consultation to see if we might be a good fit for in-person meetings in El Cerrito or online meetings throughout California.

I look forward to supporting you on your therapy or assessment journey!
