I am a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional with over 6 years of experience as a psychotherapist and over 16 years of experience as a social worker.
I support and empower clients who have a range of concerns including adjusting to life transitions, relationship challenges, exploring various aspects of identity (i.e., race, sexuality, gender), trauma, grief and loss, navigating the world as a neurodivergent person, and more. When appropriate, I utilize humor in the therapy room, and I also welcome exploring creative ways of healing through avenues such as art, music, and play. I specialize in helping clients work toward lasting change by providing empowering and culturally-responsive therapy. My approach is warm and client-centered. I especially enjoy working with members of my BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent communities. I have lived experience as a Black biracial nonbinary queer neurodivergent person. I invite you to reach out to me for a free consultation to meet and see if we would be a good fit. If I become your therapist, I will work together with you to determine your goals for therapy and use strategies that will best meet your specific needs. With genuine empathy and respect, I will meet you where you are at in your healing journey. |
I enjoy art, music, animals, nature, traveling, watching programs from around the world, advocating for social justice, and going down research rabbit holes on various topics.
